Benefits
How TORE®LANCE works
TORE®LANCE incorporates a TORE® in conjunction with a jet pump. It operates at atmospheric pressure requiring only a water feed. It is supplied in stainless steel with ceramic inserts for the jet pump.
Water is fed to the TORE®LANCE via a flexible hose. The operating valve is adjusted to regulate distribution of the water to either the jet pump or the TORE®. Water exiting the TORE®, located at the top of the TORE®LANCE, generates a vortex which fluidises the solids and controls the flow of slurry to jet pump. The jet pump provides the motive force for transportation if the slurry.
TORE®LANCE can be used as an integral part of a wider solids or sand management system, for example by feeding slurry to TORE®SCRUB for solids cleaning or to TORE®HYDROHOIST for lifting and transporting slurry over heights and distances. TORE®LANCE can also be mounted on a remote operated vehicle (ROV) for use in situations where it may be hazardous or too restricted for an operator to enter.
