BAGGING SYSTEM

The Merpro bagging system collects sand in dedicated bags for onward disposal.

Benefits

• Controlled collection of sand from upstream systems
• Bagged sand easily handled for disposal
• Simple robust system
• Varying bag sizes can be accommodated
• Sand slurry is discharged in to the collection bags. These allow the water content of the slurry to drain into an atmospheric sump, from which it is returned to the process system via a pneumatic pump.

The bags, when full are lifted by a block and tackle and moved to disposal. The bags can be either discard with the sand or the sand can be discharged from the bags to a suitable receptacle (e.g. a skip) and the bags reused.

The bags retain their shape when full.
