Merpro Group Limited is pleased to announce it has been acquired by National Oilwell Varco (NOV) Mission Products. Merpro has developed a premium brand name recognized globally in the production equipment industry. Merpro serves both oil operators and contractors by focusing on process solutions that eliminate the problems associated with sand handling, produced water treatment, and gas treatment. Additionally, Merpro maintains a premium thread license portfolio which enables Merpro to machine Vallourec, Tenaris, and NS connection threads. Merpro also brings strong machine shop capabilities that allows the company to manufacture a range of wellhead equipment and downhole tools for the offshore oil and gas industry.

Established in 1979, Merpro employs approximately 200 people in offices around the world: Montrose, Houston, Cairo, and Singapore. This is another key step in NOV Mission Products production strategy and positions Mission for growth in the FPSO and offshore production markets.
