Talisman Opts for Merpro Expertise

Merpro Manufacturing & Testing Services has secured a major order with Talisman Energy, for the onshore manufacturing, assembly and testing of a production manifold replacement for the Claymore Platform.
The objective of the project is to provide new production manifolds for each of the separators on the Claymore Production Platform, which will last for life of field. This is the first major order for Merpro Limited’s recently integrated Manufacturing & Testing Services Divisions and Colin Mitchell, Divisional Sales Manager is upbeat at the award:
"Amalgamating the Divisions has allowed us to streamline our working practice, combining our technical and service expertise. This project is testament to our continued success during this transitional period and we anticipate another successful year."
The project is scheduled to take place during the 2011 shutdown and has been designed in five modular sections specifically to minimise outage. Merpro will also provide supporting pipework and steelwork.
The Claymore Complex is located 100 miles North East of Aberdeen, Scotland, Block 14/19 UKCS.
