De-sanding Technology Supports North Sea Operations

Merpro has been awarded a contract to provide two high pressure wellhead de-sanders to support the North Sea operations of a major client. The 10,000psi de-sanders are designed to operate to 15,000bpd and 60 MMSCF/D maximum flow rates and will be used for well testing in both the UK and Dutch sectors.
The packages will utilise Merpro’s proven Tore® technology for evacuating efficiently the accumulated solids from the units during production operations. They will be designed, manufactured and assembled in Merpro’s purpose built facilities in Montrose.
