1st Petro-Canada Award for Merpro in North Sea

Petro-Canada Netherlands BV has awarded Merpro Limited an order for the supply of a Sand Disposal package for the Hanze F2A field in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

Powered by proven Merpro Tore® technology, the innovative Sand disposal package will treat dry/wet gas at a rate of 193,000 – 275,000 Nm3/d. The compact single skid unit will include a duplex stainless steel de-sander vessel, an accumulator vessel-utilising the world renowned patented Tore® solids fluidising device - and a sand bagging system. The De-sander and accumulator will be supplied 900 # pressure rated.

This is another example of Merpro’s knowledge and experience in providing sand handling solutions, which meet and exceed clients requirements, has been critical to the successful award.

The package was delivered on 07 May 2009 and commissioned for operation by July 2009. Merpro will provide full service support during the commissioning phase.
