Merpro announces collaboration Agreement with BIS Salamis

Merpro has recently entered into a collaboration agreement with BIS Salamis to develop RESTORE, a new solution for online solid removal and processing at production operational pressures.

The combined knowledge and experience of both companies and the synergies created allows us to provide a best in class service delivery.

The system uses our proven ToreScrub technology which enables pressure to be balanced during the removal process with the platform production system, allowing solids removal and cleaning to be carried out under controlled conditions.

BIS Salamis utilises high pressure water jetting technologies and bespoke jetting nozzle insertion configurations within the RESTORE system which means they are able to fluidise compacted/heavily contaminated solids within the vessel. This allows the solids to be removed from the vessel under pressure to the ToreScrub for containment and further processing, allowing permissible discharge to sea in accordance with the Operators OPPC permit.

This innovative new system has substantially less footprint than any other available online solid removal system. It also provides increased efficiency by reducing operational time on the platform, resulting in additional cost savings and increased production for the operator.

We have recently completed a series of successful trials of our integrated system, demonstrating the impressive capabilities and key benefits of RESTORE.
