PWT Package to Enhance Merpro SE Asian Presence

Merpro has completed the manufacture of a de-oiling hydrocyclone and degasser package for Singapore based S.M.O.E. The package also includes de-sanding cyclones to remove solids from the produced water, upstream of the de-oiling hydrocyclones. The package is for the CPOC B17 Gas Field Development Project and was built at Merpro’s headquarters in Montrose, Scotland, with project management being undertaken in Singapore.

Our Singapore office offers local support in project management, procurement, fabrication, supervision of installation and hook up plus offshore commissioning of topsides process packages.

This project follows the completion of another PWT package, for PetroVietnam’s FSO 5 operating in the Vietsovpetro Field, offshore Vietnam, earlier this year. The S.M.O.E. package was delivered early November 2008, with installation and commissioning scheduled for 2009.
