Merpro Awarded Contract to Supply Mobile Desanding / Cleaning Package

Merpro Products Ltd has been awarded a contract to supply a rental desander unit for a major North Sea operator. The package, consisting of Merpro’s patented Tore®Trap desanding and Tore®Scrub sand cleaning technologies, will be used during commissioning and early operation of Merpro’s Tore® Online Vessel Desander which is installed in the operator’s separator. The certified skid mounted package will allow easy disposal of the cleaned sand, while meeting the necessary North Sea discharge levels. Merpro will also provide an offshore service engineer to carry out hook up of the mobile unit and training in its operation for the client’s own production personnel.

The mobile unit is part of Merpro’s expanding North Sea rental fleet and is available for hire from their operation headquarters in Montrose, Scotland.
